How do I Mask an area in my calculation zone that I do not want?
This information applies to:
Visual Professional Edition
Details
  • To mask a Calculation Zone, simply choose the MASK command from the CALCULATION MENU or the CALCULATION TOOLBAR
  • The bottom left hand side of your screen is asking you to select objects to add. This means to select the calculation zone you need to mask. After selecting the calculation zone it will turn red. Objects selected now says 1.
  • Right mouse click to say you are done selecting the calculation zone you need to mask.
  • The bottom left hand side of your screen is now asking you to select first vertex. Select coordinates to define the polygonal exclusion area. The coordinate selection process is identical to that of defining any other polygonal shape in Visual 2.X (polygon, polygonal Solid Object, or polygonally bounded Calculation Zone). Points lying inside the polygon will be removed from the original Calculation Zone.
