What should I do when an imported AutoCAD drawing comes in very small?
This information applies to:
Visual Professional Edition
Details
This is caused by invalid or invisible AutoCAD entities being located far away from the actual layout.
Solution
The best solution is to erase these entities in AutoCAD and then import the file into Visual. Also make sure that the layout is located near 0,0. Very large coordinate values can cause problems. If it is not possible to modify the CAD file, try to erase the offending entities in Visual using selection windows.
