What is the difference between the Lumen Method statistics and the point-by-point values?
This information applies to:
Lumen Method Tool
Details
The Lumen Method Tool provides estimated results based upon a set of assumptions that are defined by the IES. The point-by-point values are calculated values determined by using photometric data and radiative transfer equations. The point-by-point values are more representative of the actual distribution of light in the space. Choosing a denser the point-by-point grid results in more accurate statistics -- at the expense of calculation time.
